The Current Rules
Ordinem is a fantasy Role Playing campaign world. At the moment it uses the SRD 5.1 rules system, which means that it is 5E Compatible. Throughout Ordinem these rules are currently referred to as "The Rules".

A New Rules System
I am happy to announce that I am now starting on the road to creating my own fantasy rules system.
For me, game systems such as Dungeons and Dragons have become too bogged down in rules that slow the game down, while at the same time being too whimsical, and with characters that are too much like super heroes.
I believe a world should be gritty and dangerous. The action should be faster, drama more treacherous and magic more unpredictable. I like a world in which characters are like real people, who have found themselves facing a world of danger, where rewards are just that – rewards for risk and peril that can so easily go wrong. That sort of game experience requires a new game system.
After many years of thinking and playing I am now ready to start constructing my own rules system, that I hope will appeal to those that want gritty drama in a credible and dangerous world.
