The World of Ordinem
A vast world forged by gods.
The creation myths hold that Ordinem was formed during a climactic battle between gods. After the upheaval the gods left a chaotic mess for lesser races to bring order to, as custodians. Despite the mandates given by the creators those races conflicted, and their hubris set terrible events in action. Blood feuds and slights drive these races against each other to this day, which divine influence still medals in.
The elves and the dwarves are custodians of vast bodies of history and lore that has created a complex world in which adventure is everywhere. In the meagre few millennia that humans have trod this world they find themselves in a world full of history, lore, adventures, treasures and terrors.
The Continent of Scionos
The year is 1268 SR, and this compendium details the continent of Scionos.
On one continent in particular, humans were brought into being. They were nurtured by the elves, but they learned quickly and in time pushed their teachers aside.
This tome introduces the continent of Scionos, where human history started and is layered upon elven history, which is layered upon the history of giants and of dragons and of the gods.

The Gods
The peoples of Scionos live their lives under the will and whim of a pantheon of gods.
The gods were formed long ago out of the power of peoples will and need to believe in them. First the elves and the dwarves, and then the humans adopted these gods; each race adapting them to their own wants and needs, until they came to depend upon or fear each god for its own domains of power over their lives.
This compendium describes the main gods that preside over the forces that control everyone's lives, and details how they are held in regard throughout the different lands of Scionos.
Lands, Cities and Wilds
Scionos is divided between lands and wilds. There are high civilisations of the humans, and mysterious remote realms of the elves, and between them lands long overrun by monsters, while the dwarves exist all but forgotten under the hills and mountains. Many places have ancient pasts that hide lost civilisations, ruins and dungeons overflowing with dangers, horrors, treasures and everything that an adventurer could want for and fear.
Civilisation may sound cosy and safe, but there are always monsters and warlords that threaten the survival of even the most secure looking land.
Peoples of Scionos
There are thousands on thousands of interesting people to be discovered in the continent of Scionos. This compendium mentions some local personalities and describes in more detail some of the more prominent NPCs of the continent. Be they kings and queens, or adventurers, chancers or valiant knights, this compendium introduces a sample of the colourful people of Scionos.
This compendium also introduces a number of organisation that span the continent, be they religious fanatics, criminal networks or trading networks. They are all detailed enough to add to the adventures awaiting daring players.
